The January 26th seminar on Med/Arb was a big success. The discussion and materials exchanged were effective in communicating the value of med/arb. It is anticipated that this conference will be offered again in the future. This was followed up by my testifying before the Michigan Senate Judiciary Committee in support of the adoption of the Revised Uniform Arbitration Act on January 31st. We are cautiously optimistic that this will pass the committee and be reported to the Senate floor before the end of this month.
